Thank´s a lot for your comment Ron! Both of us are graphic designers and have specialized in calligraphy in Italy and England. I guess our work is the mixture of our design background and also of several years of taking painting lessons at an atelier. We resort to all sorts of techniques, but lately we have been experimenting a lot with collage on canvas, using walnut ink, sumi and color pastels. We try to be open about the sources of inspiration, looking not only at calligraphy work but also paintings, graphic, whatever comes into our hands. In general a text is the excuse to start a piece. I personally like to sketch a lot and keep a notebook with ideas.

You are extremely good at the skill you have developed. I seldom write to other calligraphers unless they have my attention and you do. Would love to know the process of thinking, designing and the technique of the opaque vs. the transparent colors and medium you use and how you have come up with such beautiful work. You have much to share and offer to many calligraphers and I thank you for that. I have been doing calligraphy as a full time living for about 20 years and would love to know about the sensitivity of skill that you have developed and others that may have influenced you. I believe you can speak English and would love to hear from you.

Hola chicas, quería decirles que estoy muy felíz de haber ido al curso, conocerlas a Uds personalmente y a Marco fué un regalo hermoso que me hice. Aunque me costó bastante porder entender y expresar algo, me quedé contenta con el taller, al punto que me fuí muy sensibilizada, por lo que creo que cumplí con el objetivo propuesto.
Gracias por organizar algo tan lindo, nos estamos viendo.
